Princess Reviews – Rapunzel

“I’ve met someone.”
“Yes, the wanted thief I’m so proud.”

What can we say, she has a thing for bad boys? Rapunzel is the beautiful green eyed girl with 70 feet of hair. Rapunzel is one of Disney’s newer princess, but with some of that classic-disney-princess-charm. She’s got the creativity and untamed spirit that we see in Pocahontas, and the beauty and grace that is in Cinderella. Those classic traits are accompanied by a refreshing wild sense of adventure, and an indecisive, youthful mind. Rapunzel dreams of seeing the lights, as Ariel dreamed of being human, and she decided it was time that she did. She trusts “the wanted thief,” (“a horrible decision really”) and takes a huge leap of faith out her window. She’s the first Disney Princess to posses what’s basically the coolest super power ever and she uses it wisely.
Rapunzel is the cutest mix of flighty and brave, two things that Flynn (or Eugene) can’t help but fall in love with. In my opinion, she gets the sexiest of the official Disney Prince’s and the most adorable animal friend ever.
Her random bursts of confidence, sassy comebacks, and hesitant followups make her one of the most relatable princesses. She’s a precious character who finds inner strength with the help of an orphan with scruff and a frying pan. Proof the simplest of things can help you find the courage to go on all the adventures you dream about.
